- Suggested by Scythe of Grim from the Ubi forums.

It is kind of weird that moving at any pace besides "painfully slow" is suspicious and that the guards instantly know you're a heretic... Advertisement, April 29th, 2017, 2:17 am |

lol - Funny but... just in case their is no confustion when people travel at a fast pace (horseback, running, etc.) they tend to draw attention to themself which makes it harder to keep a low profile which is what social stealth is all about. Also religous figures did not ever use piercing, choping, or slashing weapons. Instead they only used Bludgening weapons if they even carried an obvious weapon which was rare; this was because of their belief of not sheding any blood. a mace or hammer does not shed blood like a longsword or a dagger.

i know what weapons Altair carries. The only thing he has that is remotely bashing is his body (head, fist, and foot) but... since carrying weapons draws attention if they notice that they are slashing or peircing in nature than they immidiatly know that he is a heretic. i would imagine the cuts down the bottom half of his outfit would complicate things too due to the respect towards the monk outfit that monks had. not to mention his finger he sacrificed; i doubt they had not noticed that the assassins have that same finger missing further complicating things.

Regardless... i like this comic, keep up the good work.

ehh.. - Umm, the people who end up chasing you for being a heretic, all use swords or shoot you with a bow and arrow... And imo those weapons are piercing.

And yes, the fact in the game REALLY annoys me that you can't run.

Today I had killed all the informant targets, I took ONE RUNNINGSTEP going back to the informant and what do I hear? "ASSASSIIN!!!!!!!"... and I ended up having to try it again. The next time, I sat down after killing em all. Everything seemed ok, the guards started to go away from me, I got up, without taking ONE STEP, they TURNED AROUND and yelled "ASSASSIN!!!".. again failing my mission. :D

So yeah, the game definately IS NOT that great. (It was ok the first time around)

AND the often occuring "Disc Read Error"'s ain't a plus either. (Yes, it happenes to alot of people with the xbox 360 version and yes, it is a discflaw.)

So this comic reaaally hit a point :) Love it.

Wha - Isn't a heretic someone who doesnt beleive in your religion? :P
Also, only when you put your hands together do they say, "oh, its just a scholar with a sword..." but when you walk normally (after an assassination) they say "INFIDEL/HERETIC!"

- that always got me too. no other civilian carries any weapon, let alone the arsenal Altair carries... but the guards just walk past him...

- Why is it if you wak or jog your an 'infedel' or 'assassin' but carring weapons is nothing strange at all. And how do they know we are assassins running from the crime. I might be an 'armed scholar' (as i like to call it) fleeing from the dead body?
